Why should I hire a professional photographer for Holy Communion?
Can siblings and grandparents be included?
Absolutely. First Communion is a family celebration, and we’re happy to include parents, siblings, and even extended family. We’ll capture both posed portraits and heartfelt candid moments.
First Holy Communion is a sacred and once-in-a-lifetime religious event. My relaxed, confident approach and experience as a Catholic and family photographer allow me to cover this milestone with reverence, joy, and spirit. Working quietly and carefully, I capture photos that are authentic, stunning, and deeply meaningful.
How long does the session take?
Most Communion sessions last 60 minutes, depending on location and how many family members are included. We allow a bit of extra time to connect with children and always take a gentle, patient approach.
When should we schedule the session?
To ensure availability and a relaxed experience, connect with me as soon as you have your child’s First Communion date. I recommend scheduling the session 1–2 weeks before or after the ceremony—when the dress is ready, and the moment still feels fresh and meaningful.
What’s included in your pricing?
Our First Holy Communion sessions start at $950 and include the photo session, retouched images in a private online gallery, and options to purchase fine-art prints, albums, and wall art. We also offer keepsake packages perfect for gifts and heirlooms.
Do you offer sessions at the church?
Yes, if your church allows photography. We’re experienced in working respectfully within church guidelines and capturing important moments discreetly. If photography inside the church isn’t permitted, we’ll plan a nearby portrait session that includes meaningful elements of the day.
How long until we receive our photos?
Your online gallery and mobile app will be ready within 2–3 weeks. Professional prints take 2-3 days in house and are typically shipped 2nd day directly to your home. Album orders arrive 4-6 weeks after your order has been placed.
What if we want portraits at a different time?
Many families choose to schedule a dedicated portrait session on a separate day, either before or after First Holy Communion. This allows more time, flexibility, and relaxed photos of your child in their Communion attire, with family members included.
